Antonio Puig
Antonio- an art lover who ran in society's highest artist circles-- incorporated his namesake company and began to lead the fragrance and cosmetics market; Antonio Puig was responsible for the first lipstick created in Spain.
He signed a deal with Paco Rabanne in 1960 to incorporate his brand and twenty years later, teamed up with Carolina Herrera- signed on the renowned designer to create and market all Puig fragrances. Ensuring quality and control by opening their own perfumery and cosmetics laboratories, the ever-evolving Puig Group teamed up with Antonio Banderas during the celebrity fragrance craze of the 1990s, and design houses Nina Ricci, Comme des Garcons and Prada to ensure their presence in the fragrance and cosmetics industry
